How do i scan 35ml negative next to my cannon n1220u scanner?
Answer:
If you enjoy the slide adapter, GO FOR IT.
But if you are not happy beside your results, or it just take TOO MUCH TIME... Then GO with a PRO. Many photo finishers will scan your negative. But you can use this on-line slide scanning service

Good luck and Happy Computing!
CUT YOUR SCANNER IN 35 ML LENGHT AND SCANN YOUR NEGATIVES.
ITS SO SIMPLE
Since this scanner is not made to scan slides and negative you will have to change it to your needs. The item that you need is a strong backlight to scan slides and negative. You need to night light the negatives from the top while you scan next to the LEDs from the bottom. Finding the light source is the tricky cog. You could cover the scanner bead with a small muted fixture and cover it with a bleak cloth (leaving the cover up). Depending on the light source, you will inevitability to do some color correction once scanned. The photos will look greatly funny at first. take them into any photo editing program that allows you to 'Invert' the photo. This will essentially 'develop' the unenthusiastic photo making a positive. Some minor adjustments and you're home free.
