Is scanner's OCR supporting how masses language?

Answer:
Depends on the software and the international magazine that you have bought.
Well, I thought that OCR be for a character not a word. From my scholarship OCR does a character by traits recognition, so I don't reckon that language is an issue here.

Optical Character Recognition (OCR)

I use this deeply and it does it character by role. That's why somethimes it confuses the O's with 0(ceros) etc.

Hope it help
see this link it's for a program that support 179 native tongue !
