Can Someone Help near my Canon Scanner Pls?
i followed all the instructions within the users guide that came beside it. so i dont know what else can be wrong. help please.

It sounds to me that you've done all the right things...subsequent step would be to e-mail Canon's website with that precise error message and see what they have to read aloud about it. It might be something simple, approaching reinstalling the driver or whatnot. Good luck.
Hmmm, sounds like the Scanner driver and\or the software for scan is glitched. I'd suggest UNinstalling, then shutdown, afterwards restart computer and REinstall the scanner driver\software.
BTW, you DO KNOW you HAVE to have the computer ON for scan, right?

You must unistall the drivers if you did install them. You can do this by
right clicking on the properties of My Computer
click on the Device Manager Tab
delete the drivers for this all surrounded by one canon printer
restart computer
install the drivers but put the disk in first and when it ask you to plug contained by your printer (by usb probably) follow its request
