I'm a pc tech and own been asked what's best. I other thought Norton. I read a article that tested Norton, McAfee, TrendMicro and AVG.
They said AVG missed nearly all virus, Mcafee missed enough to bequeath it a 5 out of 10, Norton missed 2 or 3 and was rate a resource hog and TrendMIcro got every virus and uses little memory and resources.
So I go and tried the free online scan at trendmicro and it found a virus on my PC that Norton was missing.
