HP Printer - have need of backing to Scan something.?
Is it possible to Scan a letter and put it into an email? If so, how? I've never scan anything before. Appreciate any sustain.

Simple ....
But u should be using Outlook express or Microsoft Outlook to View u'r emails...
1)Look for HP Dirctor or HP Solution Center on the desktop
2)OPen it....Click on scan Picture ......Click Scan.....Then Click "Accept"
3)A new application will enlarge up....Look for a Button called scan to email .....Click on it.....It will attach the picture directly to u'r email....
If u do not hold Outlook configured...
then after step 2)
OPen u'r email(Yahoo,hotmail)
Click on compose ...Click attach files and Browse contained by Mydocuments\My Scan Folder.....U will find the scanned symbol..
Attach it and send..

I have an HP all-in-one so it might work similar to mine:
Place the letter upside down on the scanner chalice.
If you have a button to press, do so.
Hopefully, the result will unfold in some HP's photo editing program.
See if you can click File, later Save As.
Here, be sure to note where on earth it will be saved,
distribute it a name,
and where on earth it says "filetype," see if you can select jpg.
Try to e-mail the jpg as an attachment.
If you want to check your encyclopaedia, you might see if your scanner will save to an exe directory. That way, when the receiver clicks on it, it will "execute" (open) for him/her to see.
