My mom be scanning stuff and she wasn't attracted to what she was doing and have the scanner open while it scan. Is this bad? I individual saw the light surrounded by it for a few seconds. If it is desperate what can I do? Nothing? Was this bad for my eyes? Please support!

Well, any bright light is not virtuous for your eyes.
But you have zilch to worry more or less. It is not a laser or anything like that, it is a short time ago a really bright light.
It will not end in any real trash. I would say it is on par next to accidentally looking right at the sun.

Probably not a honourable idea to stare directly at the night light for long periods of time but human being flashed is probably no differenet than a camera flash.
