I can't capture my printer/scanner to scan.?

Make sure you download the right software. I enjoy a lexmark and they gave me the wrong software. I have to download one off the internet. Now it works fine. I could draw from it to print but not scan.
assuming this a usb device, if u have other usb devices hooked up u may find they r drawing 2 much power i would try using a usb hub near it's own power adapter
