Apparently, I am among the unfortunates that have an HP all-in-one which suddenly stopped working. It told me to reinstall, which I have tried to do numerous times, next to no luck. The HP Director refused to reinstall. I own spent over 12 hours on the phone and on the website trying to fix this problem, to no avail. Now they refuse to assistance because my machine is out of warranty. I own moved files, from the installation disc, around a little and manage to get the piece of equipment to copy and print, but not scan. Does anyone know how to get it to scan, by lately pushing the scan button, without the HP Director? I will also never again purchase an HP product, after this fiasco!!!! This is the PITS!

You may hold done this, but it is worth a try.
Uninstall all HP stuff
turn bad computer, wait 15 second.
restart computer
re-install all HP drivers Etc.
the #1 piece is to do it in the correct direct and not have any behind the times driversor programs left at the rear to hang your strange installation
