New scanner... it wont work?
the printer works, but the scanner wont.
I enjoy turned of and started my computer three times, unplugged the usb cort, the power cord, you name it.
I go to control panel and clicked scanners and camers. it said "add device"... so I clocked it. it told me to append a port. there be no usb port to click on. it only have two communications ports (already in use) and one ecp printer port (already within use).
the 1-800 number to another country is not open till monday.
Do any of you hold some suggestions?

Have you tried going to DEVICE MANAGER in Control panel / System / Hardware and delete all hint to this new hardware next reboot and re-install being super thorough of the steps that the manual call for. Maybe something was corrupted on the 1st install.
