next go to guide button
start with rut number 1 - i chose on mine for channel 1 to be my local police dept. next type in frequency number from your frequency index. Do you have a register of frequencies that you are going to use? If not go to a radio shack store and they will bestow you a list or put on the market you one or atleast they will here.( do not forget period. inbetween numbers) (for example if the frequency is 250.3570 ) after press enter
then progress to channel 2 and put your subsequent code in. after once you get the codes surrounded by you want to listen too ( I think to several is annoying and then you miss the ones you really want to hear) ... press scan it should scan until they speak ... turn squelch on a moment ago a little bit

i have a 30 dike but i lock out all channel except the ones i really want to hear which for me is the local police and county police... and press scan and it only scan between those two channels so i don't miss anything...by scan 30 channels that i don't really effort about

I have heaps uniden scanning radios, and generaly, here is how to do it.
a[ cart your wanted frequency.- the one you want to enter
b]hit the program knob
c] enter the frequency care fully, next hit enter.
Different uniden models, work differently, but are about like. after you get them adjectives in, hit scan. respectively time the program key is pressed, the warren ought to automaticly jump to the nextempty burrow to be programed.
If it starts bugging you again, walk away, pinch a break, clean your mind, and analyse tour troubbles., next go spinal column to it
