Need helping finding a driver for a scanner?

I enjoy tried and tried, to find the Windows XP driver for a Microtek ScanMaker v310 scanner. It's an old scanner that someone give me without any software disc. I hold googled it any downloaded a bunch but they don't seem to work.

Can anyone please relieve me find/get the driver/software for this scanner.

Thank you for your help.

Answer:
Download the driver for Windows NT here (or any other operating system similar to Windows 98)...
http://support.microtek.com/product_dtl_...
, or find the correct drive at Microtek.

After loading the driver, click the "Properties" option contained by the scanner icon. When the properties porthole opens, click the "Compatibility" tab at the top.
Next, click the box that say "Run this program in compatibility mode for:" and consequently select "Windows NT" or any other you choose (like Windows 98).

That should work.

You may have to shift to C:/Program Files/Microtek/ScannerName to find the icon so you can switch properties (if it is not on your desktop.

.
If you find the model made before yours, that should work
That scanner is going to be to weak for XP support. Manufactures dont usually develope drivers for hardware on new operating systems that are over 1 year outmoded.
