Genius Scanner Makes NOISE !! Makes me MAD !!?
I own bought HR6X Slim recently and it works without a flaw. I'm really satisfied next to it. But the only item has gone on my nerves is that when while the scanner is on its underpinning stand and windows starts , the scanner make some noises. I hold found that it is because of the turning of the motor and stoppage of the head. In reality the head can not move because it is locked (because while the scanner is on the stand it is vertical and a button locks it ) while the motor requirements to move it.
Please tell me why this is so . I meditate I can fix it if you tell me the bring of the problem.

Unplug the scanner from the computer, the reason it make noise is Windows is touching plinth with adjectives installed devices during startup. You cannot turn this feature of Windows stale. The other alternative is leave your computer on. If this keep on happening beside the head locked, you will eventually hold a broken scanner, so disconnect it.
