Max Registry Cleaner?

I enjoy just downloaded the above and done a scan. It say it has found 5680 invalid registry entries. Do I believe what it say? Can anyone suggest a good program that I dont own to but, that will clear all these?

Answer:
Yes you probably can believe what it claims because as far as I know it's not a scam; whether fixing adjectives these claimed invalid entries will improve your system or spawn things worse is another matter. Whatever you do, other back up your registry prior to using any registry cleaning tool - at smallest create a system restore point if the programme you are using doesn't offer to create one; or use a free tool call ERUNT

Hello,

(ANS) First of adjectives there are various windows registry cleaning programs that when run will find invalid entries or registry errors. But afterwards in charge to fix these problems they will try & get you to buy their program, frankly I deliberate this is abit of a con or a trick. My advise is DON'T Buy such a program!! Why? because within are many terribly good aspect free registry cleaning tools.

**NOTE: I can highly recommend the following programs:-

No.1 CClean (free-ware) this cleans both the window history & has a registry cleaner built contained by as well. You can rear up the registry before making any fixes.
http://www.ccleaner.com/

No.2 RegSeeker (free-ware) this is a fully feature registry cleaner.
http://www.hoverdesk.net

No.3 ERDNT (free-ware) back's up the full window registry and can be fully restored if disaster strikes. http://www.snapfiles.com (free-ware section)

**Take care when working next to the registry (make sure you backup the registry before making any changes) as its extremely effortless to damage a system if your not well thought-out.

Hope this helps?

First of all, cleaning the registry is one of those tasks which race do to try and speed up a sluggish computer. And, of course it have its good points and fruitless points. There are a number of programs which do this - yours human being one - and they work quite in good health. The trouble is if you mess about near the registry you can end up next to a computer which is even slower than before, some programs will not run properly and worse still your computer won't even boot up!

Having said adjectives that there is a small utility which I own used in former times and which is safe and smooth to use in checking the system registry and fixing errors it found. It's call Regclean and was originally produced by Microsoft for their rash versions of Windows i.e. 95, 98 and NT. It works on XP as okay. The good piece about it is that it creates an "undo" folder with which you can "roll back" your registry after fixing the errors it found.

You can download it from Download.com or only do a search contained by Yahoo for it.

Ok, hope that helps.
