Hi frends, i close to to reinstall ( window xp home). how to re- format? please explain step by step.?
Answer:
Put your XP disc contained by your drive.
Follow the prompts .
1: Select the partition you want to install your operating system onto.
2: Select FORMAT contained by NTFS. This will Format your whole disc, this give you a clean install.
DO NOT USE rushed format as this does not format disk, this just writes the dawn of your disc so that the operating system can be written over old information.
3: Confirm that you want to format
4: XP will install from here.

You can budge to Maxtor.com and download
PowMax4.23 to a floppy disc. Insert the floppy
disc into the pc and re-boot it. Follow the instructions and it will erase your entire concrete drive.
Then you should be able to install Windows and afterwards use your Recovery disc to bring back what you have before you lost it.
WARNING: This will erase everything on your concrete drive!! But, it will reformat it and you will be able to install Windows and consequently use your Recovery disc.

o Wait until the “press any key to reboot”, press a push button, andwhat while setup starts
o Press “enter” at “welcome to setup”
o Press F8 to agree to license
o Press “D” to delete partition

I want you to be aware that formatting the drive is going to remove all notes. Ok, knowing that, here is the sequence.
Put your XP disk in the disc drive and restart your system. XP should "boot" from the CD. It will nouns some files and then ask if you want to install Windows very soon. Don't. Read down a little and follow the instructions for removing the fence and then creating a screen. When this is done, Windows will want to format the drive. Let it. After the drive is formatted, Windows will automaticly beging to load Windows. From here on, only just follow the yellow brick road. There will be a couple of places where on earth Windows will need for a moment input from you, but for the most part It a short time ago simply installs its self.
you should create a seperate partition on the tricky drive to store files seperately from windows within case you inevitability to reinstall again. the you wont lose all your information.
