Just get a clean hp computer and when i go to install my hoary scanner it say i obligation window 95 or 98?

Go to the hp website, and update the driver for your scanner. I'll try to find it for you:

Try to download that update, and see if it works.
Make sure to read carefully, and follow adjectives the directions!
Go to http://www.hp.com and search for driver downloads. If nearby is a driver available for your os you will find it there. If you own Vista, many elder scanners are not supported. In this case you will probably involve to buy a new one.

You just call for to go here and download the up-to-the-minute drivers for windows XP- You're using the driver that come with it which is the 95/98 driver.
Go to www.hp.com and click on the "Software & Driver Downloads" interconnect on the left. You should after see a place to type in the cross of your HP device. Type in "ScanJet 3200C" (no quotes) contained by the box and hit the ">>" button next to it. On the subsequent page, choose the "Microsoft Windows XP" link. On the subsequent page, you should see a link for downloading the driver: "ScanJet 3200C PrecisionScan LT software/driver"

You should be able to shift to HP's website and download updated drivers for your scanjet.
The drivers that are included with the scanner be written for 95 or 98 which were completely different from XP as far as drivers progress.
