About A Scanner?

My scanner is hook up but what is going on immediately is the bar on it will not move. I enjoy it unlock.. but still not moving is there and approach to fix this ? If so how can I do this?

Is it lighting up? Double check you have it unlocked. Maybe within is more than one latch.

Did you install the software? Follow the directions? etc...
Try connecting the USB cable to some other port on you CPU. Sometimes the USB ports are defective.
Secondly try to preview scan picture first & also check by chance you hold set resolution very high-ranking. If so decrease it to 100 dpi.
Slightly tilt you scanner up & down (do it really slowly & carefully) sometimes the lock get struck. Or once again lock it & again unlock it switch bad the power, before doing so.
