More than plausible, you are pressing the wrong button. Sounds like you own an all-in-one machine and you are pressing one of the COPY buttons (usually B&W or COLOR).
You entail to press the SCAN button (if any) or look through the All Programs menu and find the scanner control panel. That will allow you to scan a picture and save it as a folder.
scan them and save as a jpeg .. later they should upload ..
more information needed,are u using just a scanner,or a combo printer scanner?..they adjectives should actually work necessarily the same,scan the pic,unambiguous the file and "accumulate as" ( you type the name)..you can save it freshly about anywhere on your workstation.
