The slides are relations history taken over fifty years. They are mostly Kodacolor, some are Ektachrome and Fuji. There are also several hundred color and black and white photos. I would like to creadte DVDs to distribute to children and dignified children.

These come in mixed price ranges where the greater the price the greater the "DPI" (dots per inch)= greater resolution. Slide scanning requires this tray. (emotionally) invest in a worthy scanner. Of the scanners that perform this function all right, some of them come with special software for slide and frail photgraph editing (like removing stains or wrinkles etc.) The extra software will almost double the price (like $350 to $500) but when I was selling digital equipment most of the photo buffs said the software that comes next to these higher cessation scanners is worth its weight surrounded by gold and feel they could not do a good assignment of restoration and editing with out it.
