Should i run for a Hp or a cannon scanner? why?

Answer:
Hi,

Both of them are really perfect brands, they really make level products. Each one will be good.
But I'm going to recommend you on buying an HP scanner with the sole purpose because I have two of them at home and never have a problem with them. They are swiftly and just works great,as they should.
hi,
hp as okay as canon is good brand almost certainly. But u know canon printer/scanner engine used by HP but only the software is making by HP or stamping by HP. few year ago the collaboration between HP and Canon is breakdown after that Canon enter in Indian marketplace. For u r information HP laser jet 6L own a canon engine. After 6L the collaboration is break. Now canon and hp is differ and i use canon as well as hp printer's and scanner's but i m more make somebody`s day with canon. Coz it's work smoothly and running cost is so economically.
Personally, I approaching HP scanner, because it's color correction are better, but I will suggest you to test-run first before you buy and you can established which one is suitable for your needs. Try to scan human skin tones and you can see which result is closer to untested tones.
I would suggest the cannon. Not because its a better scanner or anything of that sort, but Instead because HP has so much unneccessary crap contained by their software.. I have see the installers for some of their multifunction devices being within sizes upwards of 500mb.. which is severe overkill..

Maybe if HP has some "Lite" reworked copy of their software, then they might be ok.
I would step for HP, all of my scanners are HP. They appear to have a long natural life (mine is 5 years and still working) I wouldn't recommend buying a refurbished one because they might break down (personal experience). I would recommend Canon when buying a digital camera though
