There is no Power supply contained by my scanner so what must be the problem as it cannot scan any metaphors so please sustain

CHECK YOU SCANNER ADAPTER FROM MULTIMETER CHECK IF IT IS WORKING PROPERLY OR NOT
is your scaner installed on your system ?
recoonect it's power ,.
re install the software ,.
and if it's possible check it on another laptop ,.
The power in most scanners is drawn directly from the computer through the USB cable. Perhaps you do not enjoy it connected into the correct portal at the back of your computer. It could also be that the cable itself is the problem (wrong size or a moment ago defective).
If you are using a USB scanner, it will get it's required power via the USB port. If you're using a USB hub, try connecting directly to your PC instead. The USB hub may not enjoy sufficient power.
