Having used both, Avast far out performs AVG
With full automatic updates of both Virus definition and Program updates. you can't go wrong for FREE.

AVG makes the best free anti virus. There is also one call Anti-vir. If are looking to just clear virus, you could download a trial of one of the paid version. I would recommend downloading a trial of Kaspersky 7.

i personally belive that panda is obedient and also zone alarm but what ever anti virus you install be sure to upgrade it with internet first later use it.
