HELP PLEASE!! IMPORTANT!! Goodmans Scanning Sowfware Problems.?
Every time I try installing it, it tells me that it can't find the software, so I tried downloading the drivers sour www.driverguide.com (which seemed to work for other people) and tried again but to no avail. It is still asking for software. I own also downloaded a freeware scanning program, thinking that THAT may be the problem.
What could stop it from installing? I'd hold thought it would install regardless of an actual scanning studio (I am on XP after all) but it of late refuses to co-operate.
Could it freshly be the lack of scan software or is it the actual drivers it is having problems near? As I say I am on XP Home on an Advent laptop.
Any give a hand would REALLY be appreciated as I need this scanner as soon as possible short spending money.
Any links to drivers of freeware scanning studios I have need of?

Answer:
You have to download the driver, unzip the archive and later point Windows to the driver when it asks for the location of the driver.
If XP has given up, you can run into the device manager and force a reinstall of the driver within.
If this still fails, you enjoy the wrong driver.
