Answer:
If you're shutting it down by clicking the on/off button on the tower overnight case then the buttom might be configured to "restart" and not to "shut down" you can transmutation this by going to control panel - power options and varying the setting under "advanced" tab
Your restarter coil is broken
Don't shut it down. Log stale, then press flick on/off switch (not the button), or turn the power past its sell-by date.
I suspect a virus that is difficult to recuperate from. However, try the troubleshooting steps at this site:

Hi in that.
What is happening is probably a driver gone discouraging .. either from a virus or something done on the computer to front up to this.
You'd need to turn on the internet and search on that error message to see what's going on. But how do you do that if your computer keep on rebooting? It's a special feature surrounded by Windows XP that's turned on by default when a lethal system error occurs. Here's how to turn it bad so you can see the error:
Navigate to the Control Panel in Windows XP by left-clicking on Start, followed by Settings and later choosing Control Panel.
In the Control Panel window, accessible System.
Note: In Microsoft Windows XP, depending on how your operating system is setup, you may not see the System icon. To correct this, click on the intertwine on the left-hand side of the Control Panel window that say Switch to Classic View.
In the System Properties window, click on the Advanced tab.
Locate the Startup and Recovery nouns and click on the Settings button.
In the Startup and Recovery window, locate and uncheck the check box subsequent to Automatically restart.
Click OK in the Startup and Recovery skylight.
Click OK in the System Properties glass.
From now on, when a problem cause a BSOD or another major error that halt the system, the PC will not automatically reboot. Rebooting manually will be necessary.
Btw, BSOD mechanism "Blue Screen of Death" a nickname dubbed for that blue blind you get near error codes displayed, in which you enjoy to cold restart your computer.
Now just turn past its sell-by date or restart your computer as you usally do, now this time, instead of restarting, it will display a blue eyeshade with an error. Sometimes it's approaching IRQ_NOT_EQUAL_OR_LESS_THAN or what is shown in this relationship: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/image:windo...
Write down what file cause the BSOD and research it on google to find the solution. I can't help you futher than that as I don't know what your error is. Other than that, you can try a few things: Do a adjectives, complete virus scan of your system, check when your computer began to reboot instead of shutting down (date/time) to see what you did up to that time it started (like installed an app or did some changes).
Hope this helps and obedient luck!
I found that I had to be in motion to control panel, system, and in in attendance is a tab or button to change restart after error. I have to uncheck it because after "any" error it would reboot. This way, it a short time ago ends the error, and get stern to normal.
