I necessitate to know If I can use this ac adapter beside my scanner.?

I lost my ac adapter for my scanner which requirements 12 volts @ 1.25 amps...I have and adapter that uses .75 amps and another that uses 300mA...can I used one of these safetly or should I freshly go out and purchase one?
