Best scanner for small tenet firm?

I'm not positive on exact scanners but I used to work for a lawyer and the singular scanner we ever used (although there be others in the office) be the one with OCR programming.
This allows you to scan a folder into the computer and it automatically turns to digital format so that you can type/delete etc from the form.
Ours was an Epson 3200 I believe.
I recommend you check out Microtek brand enterprise scanners. They brand name excellent scanners for businesses.

I would think for an organization a multifunction machine would be more appropriate. Such as an HP officejet 6110. This is the model I enjoy which is a scanner/copier/printer/fax. Has sheetfed/flatbed options both. It works great and I've have it for almost 5 years. $300

HP Typically makes wonderful products, and have a variety of stand alone scanners that one of them should do the trick :) There's two around the 8270 that you could check out - the N6010 and the 7800. Canon also have some great scanners...
