I am thinking of buying a multifunction printer. (Xerox c2424). There is a big price difference between the models beside 300x300 scanner and 600x600 scanner. I will be scanning mostly schoolbook. How important is this diffrence.

it depends whether u are going to print the scan documents. if its merely for archiving purposes or reading on the computer, then 300x300 would suffice. otherwise, u would be better rotten with 600x600
For certificate it should not matter. 300x300 will do.
300x300 is fine. But if you approaching extra fine pictures then 600x600.
600 at least possible for professional use
