I lately downloaded a driver for a scanner which i am trying to install.?

The driver is on the computer but what do i do in a minute ? The driver info wasn't on the pc thats why i downloaded it. Now i dont know where on earth to place the info i just download. Im using a compaq s4 100 scanner. I downloaded it from driverskit.com but immediately i dont know what to do in lay down for the scanner to be recognized.

Disconnect and uninstall the scanner. Reboot and plug contained by the scanner. When it is recognized and asks for the driver, point it to the wallet.

Try to reboot your computer and when it asks to install the unusual hardware, then endow with it the driver location where you save it from the download.

OR

Go to Control Panel, Add hardware, Find the Scanner, Find the driver and install it.
