My Lexmark printer is not printing surrounded by the right colors. Almost everything comes out green. I bought new label brand ink cartridges, but it didn't change anything. Also, sometimes it won't print at adjectives. I just capture a message that the computer cannot communicate with the printer. I did the troubleshooting, but nil I did worked. I tried to uninstall it the reinstall it, but t computer said the printer is busy and can't be uninstalled until it's through with its duty. I went surrounded by and cancelled all the print job, but it still said it was busy. My dog chewed on the usb cable (there are no wires showing or anything) so I be wondering if maybe the cable could be cause the miscommunication.

Try the following two tests.
1) run the printer and cable to another computer. Install and try to print.
2) Replace the cable.
If the printer fails to print on the other computer, you know it's not the driver or software. If replacing the printer cable does not fix the problem, next you know that the printer has poor and needs to be repaired or replaced.
