Can i buy something to convey a signal from a laptop to a printer within another room?
Answer:
Does your laptop own wireless connectivity? If it does then you want a wireless print server. Connect one to your printer and you can convey prints to it from anywhere within scope.
Here's a link to a few option. Almost any major entrepreneur has a product.

Depends on the laptop, but you should know how to install a router and a wireless card in the laptop and relationship up the two.
I think so.
So wat you could do is buy a print serever, which connects to your current dsl setup, later using wi-fi you send the notes to the printer. check outpost.com
Ya you can set up a small network betwen your laptop and your printer.. for that you might entail a couple of of network cable and a switch/hub. not a very costly affair. This is the best conception I can think of.. here might be better.
Thanks.

Wireless Network
You can grasp modules to plug into the printer that are like a wireless PC or laptop card and allow the printer to connect as above, but wirelessly.
Bluetooth
This have limited reach compare to the above options, but is probably the lowest cost. You will want bluetoot capability on your laptop - it may be built contained by depending on how new it is, but for you can get any a plugin card or USB "dongle".
