Every time I try to install this printer it freezes at "Looking for New Hardware." I own the disk and the same article happens when I try to install via the HP download.
Any design?

You try to reinstall the printer driver first. Maybe in let go mode also, you try to reinstall it.
After that, restart you computer and turn on your printer's power.
And the windows will rummage the device and you just follow the step to verbs. Make sure the cable is ok!
