My PC won't start when my Lexmark printer is connected?
The motherboard is an Asus P5B if that makes any difference.

Your boot sequence must be letting your printer suspend up the system. Another possibility is your printer driver is corrupt or not the Vista driver.
Try uninstalling and re installing the printer driver. Download the latest from the network - don't use the CD that come with the printer. Go to Lexmark's network site for the Vista driver.

May be some setting in BIOS that would incentive computer to stop at the BIOS screen.
Register your latest computer with the Manufacturer, so you can achieve Tech Support.
Then communicate with the Manufacturer roughly this matter.
