I own a debian print server implmenting ipp. other clients can print to it, but near is a problem?

i enjoy a debian print server running CUPS. the clients in my see use the said printer server via IPP and have the drivers installed within them locally. the path of the printer for the clients is: "http://192.168.0.102:631/printers/hp_des... simple printing from apps close to notepad works, but whenever i try it on MS Office apps, it doesn't work. i think it's because the Office displays the printer heading (w/c i think also works as the printer path) surrounded by the print dialog box as: \\http://192.168.0.102:631\HP_De... how do i change this mistake contained by part of Office? i ruminate there might be a
sort of window variable that i can correct

This looks similar to bit uncommon problem.
Is your printer prints without fault if connected directly to parallel or USB port ?

If yes
Try to take a print through a Cross Cable.
If no


Then printer driver problem or the Printer firmware is corrupted.

It its OK
Then your meet people is prohibiting some access, or blocking some dll file.
If not OK
Then you are not using the correct text of driver.
