A ask around our printer . . .?

Sometimes, out of the blue, our printer "revs up", but single for a second. It does this completely out of nowhere, when the printer wasn't turned on and I hadn't "asked" it to print anything. Any idea what might be cause this?

Answer:
Perhaps its teh controller board going bad. have it always done it?
Nope, sometimes it only just does that to check the power flowing into it.
i don't know...thats wierd. u should go to staples, bureau depot, or circut city. Ask them ur question and the pro's will donate u a good answer. or if u don't perceive like departing ur house then walk to their websites. type in ur interrogate and it will give u ur answer. if to be exact not the result u r looking for then u should linger until u see one of their commercials and look for their phone number. call them and u will return with some Goooooooooood answers!!! hope this helps
Alot of printer's do this, expecially laser printers. Certain parts of the pritner can dry out, so by it "Reving Up" it is if truth be told moving things around and keeping warm. This be put in terribly lamen terms but explicitly actually what they really do.
if you move your printer or enjoy an power out its turns on and clears its memory just dissconnect from computer for a moment and plug it final in
Mine does it adjectives the time, its okay, its just a jumbled power surge. Mine's brand new and does it even when the power on the computer is stale, there is still power going to it from the wall plug within. So there's probly nothing wrong, as long as it isn't doing it constantly adjectives day minus stopping. If it does it sometimes - just a sudden burst of animation from the outlet I guess you could say haha.
