When i try to print something the print eyeshade pops up briefly and the printer does zilch?

Check your printer is set as non-attendance Go to Start, Control Panel, Printers and other hardware, View installed printers or fax printers,then right click on the statue for your printer, if it is not ticked, and set as default.
I would re-start the printer and the computer first. If you still own problems, try unintstalling the printer driver and re-installing it.
make sure it is not set to preview, if it is check the taskbar, it might be behid the porthole you are working in, and you can't see the preview svreen. if itis set to preview first, after it won't print till you tell it OK
