The "best" printer doesn't exist because once you buy one they'll merely come out with a better one.
Good luck beside that, though.
Currently I use a Canon Pixma MP780 and my photos are as good but for better then the ancestors who print in stores.

While laser colour is the best alternative for printing (cheapest per page print cost hand down), it's not the best for just photo printing.
That honour belongs to inkjet printers. However, it's historic to note that near quality comes price (and problems).
Inkjets habitually can dry out, leaving your cartridges surrounded by need of a cleaning or repair. Also, it curls your page and you basically will enjoy to "hang them to dry" after printing.
Quality of the paper affects the print level as well. So don't skimp on cheap thesis.
All in adjectives, if I were you, I'd print them at a retail outlet. Cheaper (25c per print I ponder?) and not muss or fuss.
And Epson R220 does a fantastic job. When it comes to photos epsons really do stand apart from the rest. One benefit is that they own some of the highest dimensions cartridges.
However, printing your photos at home is hands down a rip past its sell-by date. You are usually looking at around a minimum of $0.25/print.
Take your memory card, or a CD containing the photos you would approaching to print down to a photo stop. You will have better level prints for a far better price.
hp photosmart is a good one and it take memory cards from mobil cameras ect
Epson make a really polite photo printer.
