HP 1401 All-in-one driver problems?

I have to re-do my computer and forgot to remove the USB cable before installing. Now I cannot draw from it to work. Any one know how to fix this or do I need a unknown printer?

Answer:
you can remove USB cable...uninstall windows XP driver that installed from plug and play, restart and start over.
Close the process for the printer from the "Task Manager", which is probably "hpmnon05". Dis-connect the printer from your tool and turn it off. Again reconnect it to the computer and turn it on. Windows will automatically detect the printer and it should work fine in a minute.

Just go to control panel and uninstall the printer. Start over beside the CD
