Ok, I enjoy a crappy lexmark 1185 and its settled that it doesnt want to print near black ink.?
I dont know what else to do. The lexmark site doesnt seem to hold the relevent info I need. Has anyone else have the same problem? I can't replace it at the moment although, I would love throw it threw the pane. I also bought brand new cartridges and they both dont work.
Answer:
If you own gone to the trouble of replacing both the black to no avail then unhappily the contacts inside the printer are shot. The only item to do is replace the printer. You can pick up very inexpensive printers hot these days. Or within a pinch pick up a comparable printer at a pawn shop so you can still use the cartridges you own purchased.
Luckily for you, but not to the general public lexmark made a bunch of printers that steal the 16/26 I have see them as low as $5 as cash converters.
I haven't have the black totally quit on me, but mine had lines through the page. The just thing that you can do after you do adjectives the stuff they suggest is get a up to date printer. Don't get a Lexmark, though, they are not reliable.
Lexmark users tend to hold a lot of problem next to their ink (so do Dell printers since they're made by Lexmark). If you continue to own trouble, it may be cheaper in the long run to buy a trial printer. HP users generally enjoy success next to ink.
