Hp printer say dissertation is jammed. no newspaper is surrounded by it. Can not find the button that say "clear" Any suggestion
Answer:
There are plentiful reasons why the printer may by reporting a preserve.
I would try isolating it from the computer to start with purely to rule out the computer trying to send something to the printer that it is inept to print.
With the machine powered on and not connected to anything else you can next try checking all the covers to fashion sure nothing is still stuck contained by the printer. If this is a laser printer then remove the drum/toner videotape to check if any paper is sitting beneath or behind it. If the electrical device has a composition tray remove that also and check that the paper is seated properly.
If you own done all that and power cycled the printer minus anything connected to it then I would utter a bit of torn paper or some other foreign things may still be stuck inside the machine and you will have need of to take it to a service agent to be looked at.
If on its own the printer seem fine then hook it subsidise up to your computer and try printing again. If it still reports a jam after trying to print next I would suggest one of two things are likely. The printer may be have trouble feeding the article because its rollers are dirty or worn, or it is trying to print a paper size that is to say not loaded into the machine (common issue when trying to print note sized paper on A4 and vice versa).
Try turning it rotten for 30 seconds to clear the buffer, afterwards turn it back on. Should be OK later.
unplug it from the wall and the computer to reset it, or go to start-printers and faxes-click on the printer-tell it to stop printing because if it thinks the daily is jammed it also probably thinks it should be printing something, also try putting some dissertation in it
