My Epson AP 5000+ESC/P2 won't print anything except mixed up junk mail,numbers, symbols, etc. I clear it but ...

It will print and print and not stop until I turn it past its sell-by date. I can clear the printer from the computer but it still prints the jibberish, the dip switches are correct. Is there a channel to format or clear the printer by itself and not through the computer?

hii there!! in general when the printer prints mixed up symbols means corruption surrounded by printer driver or something problem with your printer. u entail to uninstall completelly than unplug ur printer cables and restart your laptop. after restart than plug in your printer put a bet on try to install. or you try to install your printer in other laptop to clear your problem!!
check the connectivity . because of the bad usb cable or the driver installed
