Computer freaks!! i hold a canon bjc2000sp printer, havent used it within while... yesterday replaced the ...?
Answer:
It's possible the print leader in the printer get permanently dried out when you weren't using it. Was the videotape you installed an old one or be that new? Are you using simply the one black cartridge or are you using the black and color tank? If you are using the black only videotape, take it out and wipe it on a piece of paper to see if ink is coming out, a moment ago to make sure the problem isn't near the cartridge.
That model lately wasn't really meant to final a long time, especially if it went unused for a while. There probably aren't a undamaged lot of BJC-2000s still in use today. You can probably hold an old laser printer contained by storage for a few years, dust it off and it will work fine, but inkjet printers are too filmy to last.
If you preserve running the cleaning utilities and nothing ever change, I would not put any more money into trying to get that printer to work. Don't buy any more bright cartridges or anything, because you would be better off merely buying a new printer.
The ink costs more than the printer is worth, you should own not bought the ink and got a untried printer of this century. Just my opinion.
ok, stupid examine, but it is plugged in and connected to the computer, right??
She's right, check adjectives the hardware first including plugs and the inside. If the cartridge isn't set surrounded by there correctly, it won't do anything. Then see if your computer is detecting the printer by doing a page-alignment experiment. I'm not sure if older models do that or not, but distribute it a shot. You should be able to do it from any application that allows you to print such as MS Word.
Here is the problem the print cranium itself is separate from the cartridges. If you haven't used the printer in a long time the print person in charge (the part you clip the little grey cartridges into) will be clogged. IN this overnight case you will have to replace the unharmed print head. Or... If you only just intended to print in Black you can purchase a videotape number BC-20 that will work.
this printer is out of date.
u should take a new one.
