... so i just junk printer in disgust !

Well who made the printer ? Dell didnt gross it. Its probably a Lexmark. And what about have them re-filled occasionally ?

You can only demand them from dell. Since dell does not authorize any company to sell their product any "dell" videotape you will be getting from a third party site will be remaunfactured (a fancy word for refilled)
