Help! The Installer take a long time to recognize the printer, I've restarted my PC already but no luck. It say connect the USB to the machine and switch the contraption on and wait for the installation to verbs. I've done this before, and it installed smoothly but very soon, I reformatted it, and it cant be installed... what would I do?

Go to www.brother.com and search for your printer surrounded by the software/drivers section and download the one that match your operating system.

try downloading the driver files from the internet again, and when installing 1st install the software and then connect the printer to the computer.
