How can clear the printer print black (HP 3325)?

OK, possibly you have the cartiridge contained by the black side, not the color side. Make sure its a black cartridge as okay. Some HP printers will allow you to just hold the black cartridge installed, and not a color even if within is a bay for a color tape. If it doesn't have grayscale, you won't find it. Yours won't enjoy one. It won't have anything that will show any type of color control excluding Fast Draft, Normal, or Best. That's why I needed to know which one you had. Try taking out the color videotape and see if black will work. If no black print is showing, then you probably own a clogged nozzle. You may have to re-install the driver first (after you check if its a black videotape and whether it is in the correct bay) You can use any one separately if you choose to (black alone and tri-color alone). To do grayscale on your printer, you'll have to give somebody a lift out the tri-color and leave surrounded by the black cartridge. Other than that, I don't regard you ever see anything referring to grayscale. You have tri-color installed also, correct? beside both cartridges in, printing will clear the black look slightly different than pure black, but it's ok. If you want just black, remove the color and store it surrounded by a ziplock, but don't touch the copper part (head). That's the one and only way to obtain only black printing. Comes from the booklet.
Go to print properties - and mark print within grey scale just.

IN MS Word in format you can make over the color of the print as well as the font and size of font. You may hold a hardware problem, though. If format in Word does not backing, call HP methodical support. They are excellent.

If you are printing from MS office after follow these steps to print in black and white.
1. Click File within word or excel or ext.
2. Go to print setup
3 In print setup in the tab find your Pinter.
4 click on preferences or properties by your printer
5. go to print inn gray ascend if you can find it.
