What's an unproblematic opening to fix a printer? I hear relatives chitchat, but I can't ensnare the words! :-)?

I enjoy a simple little Lexmark Z45 that just go out one day. It tries to step, but cannot. What are some simple steps 1, 2, 3 that I can do to try to fix this on my own? Bless you! Please come up with a great answer for me! I'm desperate! :-)

1) First directive of troubleshooting - check the physical first - Are all plugs and cable connected properly?
2) Does the printer flash a yellow pallid? (Indicative of a paper preserve or the like). If it is a steady green light - we can rule out thesis jams or printer anyone shot.
3) Clear the print que - Start/Printers and Faxes/ click on your printer to highlight - look to the disappeared column for the heading "see what's printing" - click on that - if there are print job there - click printer - revoke all documents. While you at hand - make sure that within is a check mark on your printer deity and by going to Printer - see if it is checked "default printer".
4) Are the drivers installed correctly? Go to Start/ My Computer/ right click - step to properties - Hardware tab - device manager - see if near is any yellow '?' or '!" subsequent to your printer. If there is - you enjoy a driver problem.
This is a start for you to troubleshoot - good luck.

If USB port Change to different USB port

Go to your control panel and click on the printer god
Verify that your printer is selected as the non-attendance printer.

Go to Lexmark.com and look to see under support if in that is not a step by step problem solver for your printer. You may also need to power cycle your printer if the communication between you printer and computer get out of phase.

1. Open the gard lid and see if any thing fell inside, resembling a rubber band, or coat may of got cought inside. If so easly remove what ever that be jamming the part.
2. I don`t know the ink isn't inserted proper. If so Just take the ink cardage backbone out and insert them again.
3. Check if paper is jammed some where on earth inside the printer. And again simply easly remove the jammed paper.
