I put surrounded by a unknown color tape into my Lexmark scanner/printer, but it's singular printing within black. Why isn't . .
It's not only a dribble away of paper, but of ink and on my closing nerve!
I've familiar the setting and now it read as a full cartridge of color ink and on the other hand I'm still getting a b&w print.
Answer:
The print head is defective.
Take it to the service center.
You might own to go to the utilities phase of your printer and reset it to recognize the trial cartridge. It know it's there, but it might focus it's still the old one. Also, it's other a good notion to do a re-aligning test whenever you switch out a tape. This usually solves that problem for me.
Read the manual and try to print a tryout page. If that doesn't print in color consequently your printer needs service. If it does print correctly check the printer settings within the program you are using to print the picture.
Well to be honest, the most common idea for this issue is that the transparent tape that covers the contacts and squirt releases is left on. Pull out the videotape and see if this piece of tape is still on the tape..
2nd most common common sense is a clogged or dried jet release on the catridge. Using rubbing alcohol or hot hose down in constrained amounts can help elapse ink again.
3rd reason is unbecoming physical alignment or installation of the cartridge. Try reseating it
4th Broken Interface background tape. This is the plastic cassette with gold ingots or copper dots that rest against pins in the printers tape bay. Check to ensure that the interface rhythm is secure and free from cracks or breaks. This is a warranteed malformation.
5th The printers software can not receive a report from the ink cartridge. Try running your printers' setup software (Not the driver) and hold it check for a new ink tape.
6th The Ink Cartridge is out of allignment and the printer has the handiness to realigning itself. Note, this issue would present limited color printing and within your case you are not getting any color so I doubt this is your issue.
7th The ink well are clogged. The ink well is what the ink tape carrier sits ontop of. Some printers use a in good health system (Lexmark likes this technology... I do not). The well basically corner ink and then it disperses that ink onto the daily. Other printers just use an injection method where on earth the ink travels directly from the cartridge to the weekly without wadding a resevior or well first. The easiest opening to see what you have is to remove your printer ink and tip the printer, if ink spills, verbs it up with a towel (note the ink once dried won't hurt anything). I suggest placing a see of towlets or napkins into the printer to catch any ink. If ink is present later you have a resourcefully or resivior system.
8th You printer's logic pcb board is not processing data thus not reporting ink level nor receiving and processing print isntructions.

Depending... I do not enjoy this printer but you can try this.
Next time your hit File Print or CNTL P and your print page pops up asking you how many sheets you want to print. Go to the button call Properties. Most of the time it will be located in the top right or middle right side of the pop up eyeshade. Check your prefences out make sure you do not own black and white checked. They have the black and white route for people who want to put aside money on ink. Print your ruff draft in b/w next once finished go to color.
If that doesn't work you will enjoy to check your settings on your printer. My printer has a button on the top that I can press to trademark it print in b/w,but I also own the properties button where I can choose b/w. If you enjoy an option on your printer you might want to check both areas.
