My epson cx5400 printer does not print?
Answer:
well in attendance it sounds like it could be 3 possible things.
1. your driver for your operating system is corrupt.
2. your mainboard have problem.
3. waste ink pad and cap assembly hose
first things first from the printer unplug the usb cable and try to print a oral exam page. if you can print a test page and bring back the descending lines then you printhead (and hat hose) is most likely fine. how ever if you still return with nothing your printer requirements to be taken completely apart and cleaned (not a head cleaning).
if that worked and you own print on the paper afterwards next is try to hook it up to a different laptop and install the latest driver from epsons trellis site.
if that doesnt fix your problem you have a communication problem between you mainboard and PC. and its not worth it to fix
Sorry, can't solve your problem but needed you to know I had like peas in a pod issues with my epson printer.
own you upgraded to vista?? or is it a new printer?? and say compatible to vista ?? if yes to any of the following then you inevitability to download new drivers from epsons website........ i just this minute bought a lexmark printer and had thiese problems resembling you
