There is a company call AKTIV, based, I cogitate, in Loughborough (or some where on earth nearby). They should be able to support you - they specialise in printer consumables and a print lead cleaner was nominated by them some time ago. The printer is self cleaning and I wouldn't put any chemical cleaners near it.

I've had an EPSON printer for a few years presently and it's been greatly reliable but occasionally you will have to verbs the print heads but it is done automatically near a couple of clicks.
You don't have to buy any other sort of cleaner to do this.
My model is a CX3200 and the porthole on the front of the printer guides you through the process.SIMPLE.
