I in recent times bought a new computer beside windows vista, but presently when I try to print a picture it comes out really light and easier said than done to see. How can I fix it? It's an hp printer. Thanks a bunch.

Many times with a spanking new printer, it only comes w/. to a certain extent filled ink cartridges. Perhaps the ink is low?

Before setting up any printer, it suppose to come with instructions.
You may hold put it in draft mode.
You should try to print a common document and if it prints out ok, then it way your printer is ok.
When you hit Ctrl-P, you can choose the settings which your printer is currently set on - draft, normal, etc. The type of thesis you are using also affects the print quality.
