How to fool a printer into print within b&w, when one of the colours is vacate.?
Answer:
it is an epson. you cannot print again until that cartridge is any replaced or the chip is reset. there is no opening to 'fool' it.
welcome to the wonderful world of epson :P
Well I know contained by word perfect or window regardless that when you go to print, contained by the print dialog box, there is an way out called grayscale. That make it print in black and white with the sole purpose with no colors. That might be capable of work if you can find that option on your Mac
File
when the print dialog box displays, look for 'properties,' 'options,' 'advanced,' one of these should be in attendance. click them and look for something like "print black only" or "print within black and white."
then cl o.k.
later o.k. to print
You're lucky if your printer will print. Mine will stop if one of the cartridges is empty.
Couple of ways, you could embezzle out the color cartridge. Or you could travel to properties in your printer settings and select B&W or Greyscale.
There's a angelic chance that you are stuck have to replace the cartridge even though you aren't trying to print within color.
Having seperate color cartridges is nice though - since you don't have to replace the in one piece color cartridge when one color runs out.
You might know how to buy a refill utensils for it - but results may vary.
When printing, select properties within the printer that you have elected, then select the opportunity B&W. And that's it!
