If I own to replace my color ink tape (some of the colors dried out) do I enjoy to adaptation the black too?

I enjoy a hewlett packard all surrounded by one T series if that helps. My black ink cartrige is fine, but my mother be told that if you replace on cartrige, you have to replace the other (like battery I guess). Is this true?

Answer:
If there's nothing wrong next to the black cartridge, you don't own to change it. The cartridges are totally separate from one another, which is why one can run out long past the other one does.
